| <*dv_2*>  Cuyahoga Valley Historical Museum 1775 Main Street - Peninsula The Cuyahoga Valley Historical Museum is a branch of the Peninsula Library and Historical Society, organized for the purpose of interpreting and promoting the areas history through permanent and special exhibits. The Cuyahoga Valley Historical Museum is housed in the second floor classroom of the historic Boston Township Hall, which was built in 1887 as the Peninsula High School. Summer 2002 exhibits include: - <*dv_0*>"The History of Boston Township" - Highlights the area's part in brickmaking, canalboat construction, quarrying, farming and milling, and then explores its transition to suburbia.
- <*dv_1*>"A Trip on the Ohio & Erie Canal" - This summer take a step back in time to the year 1910. Visitors become artists journeying south on the Ohio & Erie Canal and are the weekend guests of C.O. Hale. The sights and stories that visitors encounter along the way are illustrated with both photographs and text along the spine of the original survey map of the canal. Reproduced sketches are available for children to take home and color.
