An inlet of Lake Erie, North Coast Harbor was created in the 1980s as a public waterfront park and has since served as a focal point for museum developments throughout the 1990s. Currently, the area is home to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Great Lakes Science Center, Steamship William G. Mather and the Goodtime III excursion ship.
